It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Clarence Bettis in Rutland, Vermont, born in Hancock, Vermont, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bettis and Lucille Bettis (Lewis); his wife Pamela Smithson; and his grandson John Rogers, IV. He is survived by: his children, Donna (Ed DesRosiers) of Rochester, VT, Scott (Joyce Flemming) of Burlington, VT, Alan (Linda) of Savannah, GA and Cory of Rochester, VT; and his grandchildren, Pamela Harding (Johan), Joshua Collins, Magen Collins and Calub Collins.
