In loving memory of Douglas L. Trude of Rutland, Vermont, born in Rockville Centre, New York, who departed this world on July 13, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Trude and Frederick Trude; and his wife Barbara Trude. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Trude (Lori) of Rocky Point, Illissa Trude of Fair Haven, Adam Trude (Sarah) of Westfield, Chris Trude of Poultney and Meredith Fletcher (Diana) of Poultney; and his brother Jan Trude (Connie) of Mastic Beach. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and their children.
They lived there happily until the pandemic, and Barbara's health, brought them home to family in September of 2020.
