He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester T. Sharon and Doris Sharon (Priest); his grandson Shane Csizmesia; and his siblings, Gary Sharon and Annette Barbour.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nerney; his children, Donald T. Sharon II (Stacy Sharon), Mary Ellen Csizmesia (Terry Csizmesia) and Holly Carrara (Derek Carrara); his grandchildren, Jessica Sharon, Leigh Ann Trent, Patty Ann Holden, Kyle Csizmesia, Donald T Sharon III, Thomas Sharon, Paige Carrara, Caleb Carrara, Faith Carrara and Jamie Jensen; and his sister Mary Lou Lane of Key West. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
