He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thompson and Virginia Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary O'Rourke; his daughter Danielle Thompson (Johnathan Bush); and his brothers, Douglas Thompson and Daniel Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
