He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bernard Callahan and Frances Carolyn Callahan (Gokey). He is survived by: his caregiver Karen Fitchett; his daughters, Holly Callahan and Melissa Desabrais; his children-in-law, Judith, Brian Pikkarainen, Tina, Lee Johndrow, Ian and Jenn Callahan; and his stepmother Colene Callahan (Storer). He is also survived by numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, step grandchildren, his 3 siblings.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clifford Funeral Home (2 Washington St, Rutland, VT 05701).
