He was predeceased by: his former wife Pauline Brown Shepard; his daughter Christy Shepard; and his siblings, Larry, Raymond, Cheryl, Arlene, Helen and Florence.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert Shepard and Prudence Shepard (Manning); his wife Myrtle Brown Twitchell; his daughters, Geraldine Shaw and Paulette Huntley; and his siblings, Richard Shepard of Rochester and Linda Shepard of Rochester. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
