He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Mary Ellen Roach Smith; his brother-in-law Len Mercia; and his siblings, Ken Smith (Rita), Bob Smith (Mary), Irene Hams (Bob) and Dorothy Quaglietti (Carlo).
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Mercia; his children, Kerry Lonergan, Kimberly Couch and Kathy-Jo Lonergan; and his grandsons, Shannon Lonergan (Marie), Spencer Couch (Madeline) and Austin Couch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
