It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Buker Lanphear (Richmond, Vermont), who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Buker and Phyllis Buker (Pete); her husband Rodney "Pete" Lanphear; and her brothers, Robert and William.
She is survived by: her children, Glory Lanphear of Frederick, Doreen Farquharson of Morrisville, Sharon Sylvester (Robert) of Swanton, Joni Lanphear-Paritz (Mike) of Morrisville, Peter Lanphear of North Troy and Penni Lanphear-Rochette (Jeff) of Eden Mills; her grandchildren, Charity, Gregory, Amber, Gwendolyn, Loren, Stephanie, Sydney and Taylor; her children, Brennan, Evan, Aurora, Emily, Logan, Gavin, Rylee and Harper; and her siblings, Ted of Morrisville and Joan of Denison. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lamoille County VFW Post 9653 (28 Vfw St, Morristown, VT 05661).
