He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Champney and Evon Champney (Goodwin); his stepmother Zita Champney; his siblings, Barbara Durand, Marion Farrell, Gordon Champney and Albert Champeny; and his siblings-in-law, Rebecca Stone and Dennis Tinker.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Joyce Tinker; his children, David Champney (Beth), Penny Stamper (Stephan) and Melissa Champney (Teesh Moulton); his sisters, Marie Weston (Larry), Sandra Danyew (Santon) and Betty Charland (Leonard); his stepsiblings, Nancy Wight (Roy), Joyce Thompson (Jim) and Larry Champney (Kim); his brother-in-law Lane Stone; his grandchildren, Chad, Brett, Madison, Laiken, Catherine and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Willow, Sarah, Mila and Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
