He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Thayer and Theta Thayer (Dezotelle); his children, Dean Jr. of Burlington, Jamie of New York, Brian Thayer (Christine Johnson) of Richford and Rhonda Thayer of New York; his grandchild Phillip Thayer (Pearl) of Fairfax; his sister-in-law Catherine Thayer of Fairfax; and his siblings, Marvin Sr, William "Billy" Thayer Sr., Patricia and Geraldine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
