It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Caruso (Readsboro, Vermont), born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on December 8, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Annie Foster, Stella Drew, Clara West, Marian, Walter, Harry, Willis and Herbert Brewer; her great grandchild Samuel Creswell; and her son-in-law Harrison Durbin.

She is survived by: her parents, Herman Brewer and Bertha Brewer (Foster); her children, Mavis Durbin of Oil City, PA, Patricia Pangborn (Ken) of Midland, ME and Anthony John Caruso Jr. (Annette) of Readsboro, VT; her grandchildren, Emily Durbin (Roy Iggulden), Stacy Creswell (John), Jennifer St (David), Cory Pangborn (Michele), Tammy Peters and Cheree Caruso-Villeneuve (Scott); and her sister-in-law Mildred Brewer.
