Harold left this world on August 26, 2024 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ervin Lavanway and Bessie "Earlene" Lavanway (Bowen); his wife Linda L. Lavanway (Bushee); his son Brian Jason Lavanway; and his sisters, Bernice Polucci and Myrna Harvey.
He is survived by: his grandson Colton Lavanway of Dover, VT; and his sisters, Sandra Goodermote of Monroe, MA and Alta Wood of Poland, ME.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home For Funerals- West Chapel (521 W Main St, North Adams, MA 01247). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Monroe Fire Dept or the Readsboro Fire Dept in care of the funeral home.
