She was predeceased by: her mother Annetta Halvorsen. She is survived by: her father James Halvorsen; her husband Harvie; her son David (Caroline); her grandchildren, Sidney and Henry; her daughter Katie (Sam Roberts); and her sisters, Ann Sawyer and Linda Chambers.
She consistently put helping others first, moving her children in and out of many apartments and houses, renovating and organizing those houses (before her own), and being a primary caregiver to her grandchildren through the pandemic.
Donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Kimball Library in Randolph, where she and her children spent countless hours finding books to read.
