Sumner S. Small Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sumner S. Small of Randolph, Vermont, born in Hartland, Vermont, who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Small and Gertrude Small (Shepard); his wife Eleanor Manning Mitchell; his children, Dale Williams, Steven and Scott Small; and his stepchildren, Lawrence Mitchell, Gilbert Mitchell, Russell Mitchell, Diana Whalen and Paula Mitchell. He was also cherished by 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association and the Wounded Warrior Project.
