He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Carpenter and Alyce Carpenter; his wife Jeanne F. Carpenter; his siblings, Clyde Carpenter, Neil Carpenter, Arlene Holman and Beverly Whalen; and his daughter Pamela R Collier.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Wark (Mitch), Alyce Foster (Scott), Crystal Hawkins (Scott), Sheila Nichols-Gibbs (Wes), Melissa Carpenter and Alan Carpenter (Penny). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
