Ruth C. Demarest-Godfrey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2019, at the age of 97, Ruth C. Demarest-Godfrey (Randolph Center, Vermont) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gertrude Cooley (Small) and Harry Hale Cooley; her sons, Charles Harrison and Richard Alan; her grandchildren, Michael, Courtney, Danny, Kevin, Julie Ann Demarest, Bethany Ruth Demarest, Allison Elizabeth Demarest-Mays, Benjamin Anton Charles Demarest and Andrew Hale Demarest; her sister Idora Cooley Tucker; her sons, Charles Demarest of Killington, VT., Brian Demarest (Suzanne) of Woodstown, NJ. and Richard Demarest (Diane) of Meridian, ID.; her granddaughter Julie Demarest (Josh Levinson); her great grandchildren, Henry of Dover, DE., Bethany Demarest, Allison Demarest-Mays (Jake) of Boise, ID., Ben Demarest (Courtney Geis) of Springfield, OR. and Andrew Demarest of Meridian, ID.; her brother John Cooley of Lansing, MI.; her stepchildren, Leslie Godfrey of New Rochelle, NY and David Godfrey of Montclair, NJ.; and also, Charles Henry Cooley, Lois Rogers Cooley and Olivia of Phoenixville, PA.. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Ruth's sons request donations be made to the Kimball Public Library, 67 N. Main St., Randolph, VT.
