He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Young and Nellie Young (Ordway); his wife Louise; and his siblings, Marshall Young and Bernice Hunsaker.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Remick (Raymond) of Hartland, Karen Clough (Sam) of Quechee, Scott Young (Maria) of Jericho, VT and Jim Young; his grandchildren, Stephen Remick (Jessica), Ashley Cole-Henry (James), Brett, Rocco Clough, Jessica Caldwell (Charles), Rebecca, Olliver, Eric Young, Kalie and Mylee Patenaude; and his great grandchildren, Allie, Ana Cole-Henry, Andrew, Caroline Remick, Malcolm and Elliot Caldwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home (903 Hartford Ave., White River Junction, VT 05001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
