He is survived by: his wife Shirley Marie Holland (Pettibone); his son Russell Holland; his stepson Bruce "Moose" Bell of Pownal, VT.; and his siblings, Laura Sherman Hartman of North Adams, MA. and Harold "Sonny" Thomas of Williamstown, MA.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
