He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ellen Welch; his stepfather Edward Welch; his grandmother Esther Stratton; his children, Bonnie L. Stratton of Shaftsbury, VT, Rachel Briggs of Bennington, Bridget Stratton of Jacksonville, NC and Gregory Stratton of White Creek, NY.; his stepdaughter Gilena Gay M. Aban; his uncle Robert "Hawk" Stratton; and also, David Murphy, Scott Dessler and Ray. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
