She was predeceased by: her son Joel Francis Martin; and her sister Dorothy Capen. She is survived by: her parents, John Tifft and Marilyn Tifft (Gibbs); her significant other Joel Burrington Sr. of Pownal; her children, Melody Mae Gilmore of Higganum, CT, Jennifer Lynn Martin of Kila and Richard John Martin of Hoosick Falls; and her siblings, Michael Tifft of Clarksburg, MA, David Tifft of Georgia, VT, Rebecca Gratz of Bennington, Cheryl Sharkey and Linda Hill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
