He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Hogan and Magdalene Hogan (Wilhelm); and his brothers, Michael Hogan and Kevin Hogan. He is survived by: his wife Helena Noble; his children, Barbara Grey of Washington State, Susan Hebert of Iowa, William Whitman of Manchester, VT, Kelly Whitman of Maine, Kimberly Ratelle of Greenwich, NY and Melissa Surdam; and his sister Sheila Harrington of Bennington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Bayada Hospice through the funeral home.
