It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Abbott Davis (Poultney, Vermont), born in Sterling, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George S. Davis and Elizabeth Davis (Fletcher); his wife Jean Shattuck of Poultney; his children, Elizabeth Benham (Keith) of Tucson, AZ, George S. Davis (Mary Ann) of Fishers, IN and James A. Davis (Heather) of Merrimack, NH; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Annalise, Abbott and Sam; his sister Mary Beebe (William) of Cotuit, MA; and his stepbrothers, John and Robert Davis of Sterling, MA. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
