Emma R. Towne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2018, at the age of 100, Emma R. Towne (Plainfield, Vermont) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer C Towne and Stella I Towne (Kimball); her husband Carroll; her children, Gladys Evans, Charlotte Wagner, Arthur Shepard and Fredus L. Shepard, Jr.; and her sister Dorothy Towne McNamara.
She is survived by: her spouse Fredus; her daughter Joan Poland; and her son-in-law Ralph Stone of Brownsville, VT. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
