He is survived by: his parent Violet Pearl Sorell; his wife Geralyn Gros of Bennington; his children, Fred Jr. (Karen) and William Jr.; his wife Rosemary (Hitt) of Dalton; his grandchildren, Erica Roccabruna, Scott Barschdorf, Jenna Duquette, Brendan Barschdorf, Kaylene Barschdorf, Jeffrey Quetti, Diana Quetti, Matthew Maffuccio and Ryan Maffuccio; his great grandchildren, Shane Roccabruna, Evan Roccabruna, David III and Jax Duquette; his siblings, Ethel Pratt of Bennington and James of Madison; and also, Nancy Quetti (Russell) of Dalton and Julie Maffuccio (Daniel) of Dalton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kurn Hattin Homes for Children in care of the funeral home.
