With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olive Cheney of Peacham, Vermont, born in Hinesburg, Vermont, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bunal M. Cheney and Julia Cheney (Somers); and her siblings, Ruby Humphrey of Reno, NV, Elsie Wright of Wells River, VT., Doris Therrien, Gwendolyn Mitchell, Meryl Ientile, Robert Cheney and Lyle Cheney.

Masks and social distancing are required for attendance at all of Olive's services. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2021 at the Peacham Congregational Church. (Note that this will need to be confirmed if COVID and social distancing rules are in effect).

Memorial contributions may be made to Caledonia Home Health, 161 Sherman Drive, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.

“Every Christmas Olive sent my mother a card, even though my Mom had Dementia. Olive was a very good friend of my Aunt Berts when they lived in Brooklyn during the winters many years ago. I kept in touch with Olive and was amazed how active she was. I knew something was wrong when we didn’t receive a card this year. I looked this up on the internet and sadly saw her obit. May you Rest In Peace Olive. Marie White Ebbing”
