He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Smith and Joyce Smith (Freeman); his siblings, Homer, Edward and Agnes Mitchell; and his pet Bud.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harold, Janice and Pat. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
