She was predeceased by: her husband Rafael "Fel" Fernandez; her parents, Herbert Carmichael and Verna Carmichael; her brothers, Phillip and Fredric Carmichael; and her nieces and nephews, Philip Carmichael, Garth Carmichael, William Voorhees, Norman F. Anderson, Nina Popowski Brignon, Judy Carmichael Casey and Wanda Carmichael Judd.
She is survived by: her children, David Fernandez of Northfield, Lisa Fernandez Eldredge (Terry) of Sun Valley, Lynda Dunlop (Stewart) of North Conway and Ramon Fernandez (Melanie) of Northfield, Vermont; her grandchildren, Lindsay Fernandez Montagna (Jared) of Parsippany, Juliaunna Fernandez Dunlop of New York City, Nina Fernandez Eldredge, Rachel Fernandez and John Fernandez of Northfield, Vermont; her great grandchild Chloe Montagna; and her sister Sandra Carmichael Voorhees.
