It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sanford Cota Jr. (North Troy, Vermont), who passed away on October 31, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Cota, Sr and Agnes Cota; and his siblings, Margaret, Madeleine, Beatrice, Betty and Floyd.

He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Peters of North Troy, VT; his children, Robert S. Cota (Sara) of Newport Center, VT, Michael Cota (Shawn) of North Troy, VT and Tammy Baraw (Gilbert) of Newport, VT; his grandchildren, Kyle Newell, Keith Newell, Josh Young, Cassandra Cota, Kayla Shover, Tyler Baraw, Cody Baraw, Salina McNamara and Sherry McNamara; his great grandchild Ameila Mae; and his siblings, Marvin Cota and Shirley Alix. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
