It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carissa Lee Smith of North Randolph, Vermont, born in Hanover, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sawyer and Dorothy Sawyer (Erskine); her brother Donald Sawyer; and her grandparents, Wesley and Bessie Sawyer.

She is survived by: her husband Donald A. Smith; and her children, Gerald "Jerry" Smith, II, N. Randolph, Michael A. Smith of Richford and Donna Carpenter of Royalton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
