He was predeceased by: his father Thomas D. Cole; and his brother Michael L. Cole. He is survived by: his mother Mildred M. Cole (Stanley); his wife Sue Ellen Cole (Johnson); his children, Edwin "Edge" Cole (Ashley) and Annie L LaBombard (Eric); his grandchildren, Noah, Garrett, Chloe, Morgan and Alexa; and his siblings, Byron B. Cole (Beth), Milan "Pete" Cole (Bea), William T. Cole and Sheila M. Birmingham.
