He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses S. Chase and Rena M. Chase (Adams); his son Kim Moses Chase; his siblings, Florence Rameor, Kenneth, Norman, Dean and Ronald Chase (Curley); and his pet Moe.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine J. Longley; his children, Jeanna Hamblet of Keene, NH, Keith Chase (Ona) of North Pomfret, Tamara Phillips (David) of North Thetford, VT and Jenness Burns (George) of Hartland; his daughter-in-law Carroll Chase (Kim) of Baltimore; his grandchildren, Christopher Hamblet, Caitlin Whitehead (Jitu), Eric Chase (Valerie), Perry Chase (Demetra), Matthew Chase (Sarah), Danielle Chase, Heather Rosemond (Cory), Justin Leblanc (Michelle) and Hayden Chase; his great grandchildren, Ava, Jitu Whitehead, Cody, Hayley Chase, Lysle J Chase, Kaylin, Chloe Rosemond, Emma, Lily and Miles Leblanc; and his siblings, Barbara Gilbert, Ethelyn Wardwell, Kathleen Chase and Howard "Chic" Chase. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held privately at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center. Due to the Covid-19 virus this will be a private family service.
