We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 93, Elaine J. Longley Chase of North Pomfret, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry F. Longley and Lillian Daisy Longley (Parsons); her husband Lysle Chase; her son Kim Moses Chase; and her brothers, Douglas E. Longley and Richard E. Whitcomb (Buddy).
She is survived by: her children, Jeanna Hamblet of Keene, NH, Keith Chase (Ona) of North Pomfret, VT, Tamara Phillips (David) of North Thetford, VT and Jenness Burns (George) of Hartland, VT.; her grandchildren, Christopher Hamblet, Caitlin Whitehead (Jitu), Eric Chase (Valerie), Perry Chase (Demetra), Matthew Chase (Sarah), Danielle Chase (Clint Jester), Heather Rosemond (Cory), Justin LeBlanc (Michelle) and Hayden Chase; her great grandchildren, Ava, Jay, Cody, Hayley, Lysle, Kaylin, Chloe, Emma, Lily, Miles and Jensen; her sisters, Phyllis P Whitcomb and Bette W Burns (Francis) of Holiday, FL.; and her daughter-in-law Carroll Chase of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
