It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Labounty (North Danville, Vermont), born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Judes Couture and Beulah Couture (Bean); her siblings, Josephine Church, Edward Couture and John Joyce; and her grandson Raymond LaBounty, III.
She is survived by: her grandson Ray 3rd; her children, Myrtie Alexander (James) of Bedford, KY, Raymond LaBounty, Jr. (Catherine) of St. Johnsbury, Beulah Nickles (James) of St. Johnsbury, Lee LaBounty (Missy Rabtoy) and Danville; her sisters, Blanche Couture and Alberta Gosslin of Maine; her grandchildren, Darren Alexander of Bedford, Rick, Ross LaBounty of St. Johnsbury, Jake, Kaeleigh Demers of St. Johnsbury, Kelsea Demers of Monroe, NH, Keith Nickles of St. Johnsbury and James Nickles Jr. of Bradford; her great grandchildren, Laney, Koltin Alexander, Brady Nickels, Addison Demers, Brody Davis and Landon Moyse; and her sister-in-law Jackie Couture of Vergennes, VT. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
