He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland H. Sr. Russell and Mary Elizabeth Russell (Mylott); and his siblings, Elizabeth Mason, Carolyn Harrington, Diane Becker, Robert, Andrew and Steven Russell.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Bertha M. Harrington; his children, Jo-Ann Russell (Matthew Budro) of White Creek, NY and Jason Russell of Hoosick Falls, NY; his grandchildren, Payton and Tylee Russell; and his sister Virginia Niesz of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
