It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jad Matthew Hoag of North Bennington, Vermont, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Kerry Hoag. He is survived by: his mother Jean Hoag Shortt; his stepfather Duane Shortt of North Bennington; his brother Trever Hoag of Burlington; his sister-in-law Erin Lemieux of Bennington; his nephew Calvin Hoag of Bennington; and his stepsiblings, Kristen Towslee of Bennington and Duane M. Shortt of Shaftsbury. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Masks are mandatory for those attending the church services.
His high school studies set a foundation for his lifelong career in construction , where he specialized in flooring installation, he was self employed for many years and worked as a sub-contractor for Breadloaf Construction.
