She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Thompson and Eula Thompson (Whitcomb); her spouse Ellis Rushford; her children, Sharon Pare (Robert) of Newport, Lisa Kincaid (Kevin) of Morgan and Michael Rushford (Patricia) of Coventry; her granddaughter Meghan Whitt (Randy) of Belgrade, MT; her great grandchildren, Henry Crannell of Lansing, MI and Hayden Whitt of Belgrade, MT.; her stepgrandson Travis Blake (Jessica); her brothers-in-law, Gary Rushford (Linda) of Haines City, FL and Robert Spaulding of Hyde Park, VT; and her siblings, Clifford Thompson of Reading, MA and Norma Savage of Eden, VT.. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
