It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Jane (Bond) Prue of Newport, Vermont, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Bond and Doris Bond (Blanchard); her husband David Prue; her daughter Peggy Rackleff; and her sister Barbara Rowell (Bond).
She is survived by: her son-in-law Harley; her children, Sharon Card (Stephen), William "Bill" Prue (Jeanne) and Janice Mayo (Patrick); her son-in-law David Rackleff; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Shohet, Alison Card, William "Bill", Jonathan Prue, Dawn Vining, Kelly Hyde, Ethan Mayo, Sarah Barry and Zachary Mayo. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
