It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary R. Turgeon of Newport, Vermont, born in Lowell, Vermont, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pion and Rose Anna Pion (LaChapelle); her husband Norman Turgeon; her siblings, Paul, Norman Pion and Bernadette Chamberland; and her sons-in-law, Michael Meunier, Robert Jones and Bradley Barrup.
She is survived by: her children, Laurette Jones of Holland, Dennis Turgeon (Rachel) of Ballston Spa, JoAnn Barrup of Newport and Linda Turgeon-Meunier of Jay; and her sister Theresa Couture of Westfield. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
