With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcel R. Fontaine of Newport, Vermont, who passed away on August 22, 2021 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albini Fontaine and Jeanne-Mance Fontaine; and his siblings, Lionel, Gerard, Leonard, Ronald, Alan, Claude and Nicole.
He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Thibeault; his children, Nicholas Fontaine and Melissa Waterhouse (Jason); his grandchildren, Briana Inskeep and Olivia Fontaine; and his siblings, Noella Roy (Raymond) of Massachusetts, Peggy Collins (Lee) of Barton Vermont, Aline LaMadeleine, Diane Mudgett (Mark) of Glover Vermont and Real Fontaine (Rose) of Irasburg Vermont. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
