He was predeceased by: his father Carmi Preston; and his siblings, Thelma, Joyce, Wayne and Chet.
He is survived by: his sisters, Eleanor Isleib of Middletown, CT and Rebecca Hyder of Thompson, CT; his son Lyle, Jr. (Liz); his grandson AJ; his daughter Lisa (Bradley Pagliaro); his granddaughter Natasha Bailey of Honolulu, HI; and his daughter Linda.
