We bid farewell to Louis Richard Dean of Newport, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Dean and Louis Dean. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Dean (Sargent); his children, Vicki Plentzas (Marc) of Goffstown, NH and Scott Dean (Kelli) of Westfield, VT.; his grandchildren, Hannah Dean (Anthony Andronico) of Quincy, MA, Jeremy Dean (Jasmine Moody) of Milton, VT, Nicholas Plentzas (Maddie) of Londonderry, NH and Amalia Plentzas of Goffstown, NH.; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Firkey of Essex, VT, Rachel Ouellette (George) of Milton, VT and Betty Sargent of Colchester, VT.; his friends, Steve, Fred, Wayne and Colin; and his pets, Beau and Knight.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home (37 Lake Rd, Newport, VT 05855). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
