We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 82, James D. Kavanagh in Newport, Vermont, born in Lac-Mégantic, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kavanagh and Alice Kavanagh (McInerney); his siblings, Margaret, Patricia, Elizabeth, Kathleen and John-Havey; and his in-laws, Arthur and Catherine Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom; his children, Michael (Cynthia) of Timmy's Little League, Timmy (Candy), Andrea (Ewell) and Katy (Martin); his grandchildren, Matthew Kavanagh (Kristen), Alex Kavanagh (Amanda) and Sawyer Kavanagh (Quinn); his children, Jack Kavanagh, Kristopher and Elizabeth Smith; his grandchildren, Danielle and Grant Thibault; his great grandchildren, Evy-Lou Kavanagh and Abraham Thibault; his siblings, Noreen Legendre, Jean Rainville and David; and his sister-in-law Patricia Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
