Elsie L. Sumner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie L. Sumner (Newport, Vermont), who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Jr. Lafayette and Frances C. Lafayette of Milton, Vermont.; her husband John T. Sumner; and her siblings, Doris Mears, Doug and Wayne Lafayette.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Vachon (Serge) of Newport, Bill Sumner (Shirley) of Derby and Carol Bushaw of Springfield; her grandchildren, Lisa Osinuga (Greg) of Springfield, David Sumner of Derby, Jonathan Bushaw of Keene, Danielle Murphy (Sean) of Brunswick, Margaret Young of Proctor and Thomas Sumner (Julia) of Colchester; and her siblings-in-law, Jane Lafayette, Norma Lafayette and Paul Mears of Milton. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
