With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifford Lawrence Dillon Jr. of Newport Center, Vermont, born in Newport, Vermont, who passed away on November 12, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford L. Dillon, and Madeline Dillon, Sr. (Santaw); his son Eric Young; his brother Dennis Dillon; and his nephews, Adam Dillon and Nicholas Blay.
He is survived by: his wife Jacki-Lyn Horner of Newport Center; his children, SGT Allyn Bachelder (Elliemae) of St. Albans, Holly Dillon of Middlebury and Whitney Burkewitz (Justin) of Irasburg; his grandchildren, Jared Mitchell, Kaleb Mitchell, Amelya Bachelder, Rowen Burkewitz and Lacey Burkewitz; his siblings, Terry Dillon (Esther) of Newport Center, Chris Dillon (Lori Ward) of Newport and Linda Choquette (Richard) of North Troy; his in-laws, Robert and Penny Horner of Inverness; and his sister-in-law Laurie Horner-Goodell (Burt) of Newport Center. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
