With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Simonds of Newbury, Vermont, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Cleora Simonds (Cindy); his daughter Lisa Simonds Eastman; his grandsons, Jamie Eastman (Hannah), Dylan Eastman (Destiny) and Devin Simonds; and his brothers, Water St. Ron, Larry and Gary Sulham Barry (Kathy MacDonald).
The Orange County Sheriff's Department will miss Nelson and remember his contributions to his Department and community.
