He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Barrett and Helen Barrett (Young); his wife Doris (Senn) of Redon; his siblings, Lois, Carl, Elmer, Bud, Jim, Bob and Howie; and his grandson John.
He is survived by: his former wife Edith Adelheid Wiesebrock; his children, Diane Frost (Charles) of Groton, VT and George (Ruth Ann) of Redon; his grandchildren, Steven, Kelly, Timothy and Emily (Zaid); his great grandchild Luke; his niece Carlene "Barrett" Lewis (Charles) of Lyme, CT.; his sister-in-law Nile Barrett; his niece Marlow Medeiros (Dan); his nephew Morgan Barrett (Heidi) of Westbrook, CT.; and his friend Reg Bishop.
