It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Paton (Newbury, Vermont), born in Waterbury, Vermont, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ayers and Doris Ayers; her close friend Bill Gilson; and her siblings, Theodore, Clarabelle, Doris, Lawrence, Edward, Lowell, Ruth, Florence, Dwayne, Wayne, Ernest, Horold, Roland, Donna and Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Paton; her sons, Michael Paton (Christina) of Wells River, VT, Francis Paton of Orleans, VT and Robert Paton of West Lebanon, NH; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Allison, Robert, Timmy, Aleasha, Michael Jr., Josh, Melinda, Shiann and Tyler. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
