She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Claudia; her grandparents, Elmwood Farms, Henry Clinton and Susan Adams Conant; her parents, Carroll Landon and Alice Landon; her sister Lillian Conant; her brother-in-law Robert Wade Landon; her children, Michael Landon Merritt and Carroll Hoyt Merritt; her son-in-law Thomas O'Neill; her granddaughter Megan O'Neill; her children, George Tracy Merritt III (Floarea Borlovan) and Lauria; her son-in-law David Connolly; her grandchildren, Jack, Rory and Julie Connolly; her great grandchild Abby van den Noort; her niece Linda Colvin; and her friend Francis Lincoln Merritt Jr.. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and a great-grand-nephew.
