It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Alden Whitcomb of Morrisville, Vermont, born in Hardwick, Vermont, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Whitcomb and Christine Whitcomb; his brothers, Roger Whitcomb and Wayne Whitcomb Jr.; his brother-in-law John Tramell; and his son Roger Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Rhoda Bedell; his daughter Julie McCrary; his granddaughter Elizabeth McCrary of Daytona Beach; his son Leon Whitcomb, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana.; and his siblings, Mason Whitcomb (Sharon Hersey) of Barre, Lorraine Cavalho of Alabama, Shirley Bridges (David Bridges) of Ohio and Arlene Whitcomb-Tramell of Florida.
