He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Vasseur and Emma Vasseur (Gratton); his siblings, Adrien, Albert, Ernest, Arthur, Laura Harrington, Rita Mandigo and Jeanette Pearce; and his nephews, Douglas Vasseur and James Vasseur.
He is survived by: his wife Gelia (Kennedy); his daughter Sara Gee (Jessey); his grandson Dalton; his son Jason (Natalie); his grandchildren, Aidan, Kaleb, Jeff (Peggy Lord) and Isabella; and his sister-in-law Mary Kennedy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
